Gobble, Gobble..

Lot's to be thankful for after a tough week.

One of the great things about this "Gig" we call Real estate, is that you meet lots of nice folks.

I want to take a minute and thank everyone (and you know who you are) New & Old for trusting me with a very important moment in each of your lives.

I might take it easy and a bit laid back but rest assured that we will ALWAYS have your best interest in heart.

Tough Day Today...

While I try to keep my job light, there are days which can throw you for a loop.

I'm in the Real Estate business and you figure that it's a pretty safe gig but today there was a shooting in the Condo building which I am the President of.

An Owner was being evicted (long story and a longer process) and an innocent person was killed for just doing their job.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family of this individual and may we ALL realize that this is not a life or death business.

AHHHH!!!!!!

The Builders are Back.

Yes it's true, the folks all the locals love to hate are starting to rummage around area 41 looking at value properties.

Good sign; if they are starting to amass properties, we might be in for some much needed new construction.

Hopefully they will design well thought out "Green" buildings with a modern flair....

HAHAHA can't believe I just wrote that!!!

They will build square Footage....cause that's ALL they know.

Note to Builders, Think;

Smaller Square footage; Gee what a concept.

Water Conservation; Gray/Black/White

Solar Energy; For pools/generators.

Eco Design; We live in a hardwood hammock....keep it that way.

You have been warned.

Ran my first one today; Key Biscayne lighthouse run, lot's of fun.

Started WAY early (not enough coffee) but the weather was here, great crowd, really nice route and I got to wear my Raven Shirt for inspiration.

Folks, can't stress this enough; if you are in the home buying market, get with it.

30 years in the low 4's is free dough, take advantage of it.

Also Real Estate taxes are down and should hold until 2012.

Can't help you with Insurance though, that's just a sweet racket.....
